Alicia DiMaccio is
a production coordinator based in Los Angeles.

My name is Alicia DiMaccio. I was born and raised in the Midwest. While Columbus, Ohio, was my hometown, I packed my bags and moved out to Los Angeles to pursue a career in an industry I fell in love with ever since I was a little girl: animation.

The first film I saw in theaters was Disney’s Mulan. This movie began my love for animation. I remember spending sick days watching Disney movies or eating a bowl of cereal while admiring the pure joy of Saturday morning cartoons. My passion for animation only grew with age. The more I learned about it, the more I wanted to be a part of the magic.

Since moving to Los Angeles, I’ve pursued a career in production. Over the last six years, I’ve worked on a handful of projects, ranging from commercials to music videos to television series. My most notable role was serving as an experienced production coordinator for the award-winning television series Looney Tunes Cartoons.

I’ve been involved in each phase of production: pre-production, production, and post-production. My experience ranges from hands-on physical work on live-action commercials to in-office responsibilities for animated series. Each has shown me its demands, expectations, and room for growth.

Currently, I work as an experienced production coordinator in animation. In the future, I intend to increase my experience in this industry, as well as find a ticket so I may visit Japan.
